Useful Vision

Useful Vision helps vision impaired children and their families in the north east get the most out of life.  They do this by organising imaginative family events, skills workshops and by offering a family information service.

The trips and activities are held across the region throughout the year and are designed to meet the needs of vision impaired children of all abilities, whilst at the same time offering an enjoyable experience for families and carers.

The Useful Vision Family Information and advice service offers emotional and practical support, with advice and information for families affected by a child's or young person's sight loss.

Registration to the Useful Vision service is free, the only requirement is that you are the parent or carer of a child or young person who has a significant sight problem and that you live in the north east.  Families can register online on the website,  or contact the office by telephone or email for an information and registration pack.  Once registered you will be able to access all the activities and information for free.

This information has been provided directly by the organisation/ service provider. However, it is still always a good idea to contact them to check nothing has been changed.
