Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Network Uk

Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Network Uk

What is FASD Network UK?

FASD Network was started as a support group in Stockton in 2011 by foster carers, adopters and birth families with experience of raising children with FASD. The aim was to bring families together to provide support, break isolation, learn new skills, and to be around people who understood the joys and challenges of caring for children, young people and adults with FASD.

Where do support groups meet?

Due to the level of need across the North East, groups have expanded from the Durham Tees Valley area to include a northern group to support families in Northumbria, Tyneside and Wearside and a southern group to support families in North Yorkshire.

Whilst we have an ever expanding UK remit, our particular focus is on families in the North East region due to the significant levels of need here. We firmly believe that support services are best delivered by local people with direct experience and knowledge of FASD.

Register with us by emailing us or completing the contact form on our website.  Detials of the support groups are added tp the Facebook group (FASD Network UK) and the webpage  ( and are emailed directly to those who register.

This information has been provided directly by the organisation/ service provider. However, it is still always a good idea to contact them to check nothing has been changed.
