There are a range of services that can provide additional support in Hartlepool that you can go to if you need extra help to overcome issues or receive extra support to help you move on. These include:

The One Stop Shop which offers young people a wide range of services including:

  • Support in to Education, Training or Employment
  • Health and Relationship advice
  • Support with money issues, benefits advice, student finance and budgeting
  • Job search facilities including Curriculum Vitae support
  • Support around housing issues
  • Opportunities for personal and social development

You can access The One Stop Shop from 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday – Friday.

Targeted Youth Support offers young people the chance to receive one to one or group support on particular issues or problems they are facing that might be:

  •  Group work on specific issues affecting your life – sexual health, anger management etc
  • One to one support to talk through specific issues (and access to more specialist services with your consent if you need them)
  • One to one support to access Universal Services (or things to do and places to go) if you need advice on what would suit you or don’t feel confident
  • Direction to services that might benefit you.

You can access this service by requesting it at the following Youth Centres – Throston Youth Project, Brinkburn Youth Centre, Rossmere Youth Centre, Burbank, Seaton Carew, Seaton Grange, Greatham, Café Clavering and detached and mobile.

C Card, Chlamydia and pregnancy testing – at a range of youth Work Venues across the town.
